Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Days Since app for iPhone and iPad.
The short version: Days Since has no accounts, no advertising and no tracking, and we don't run any server that receives your data. Everything you enter stays on your device and in your own private iCloud.
What information does Days Since collect?
Days Since doesn't ask you to create an account or sign in, and we don't collect your name, email address or any contact details. The content you create in the app — your events, reminders, resets, categories, dates and notes — is stored on your device using Apple's on-device database, and synced across your own devices through your private iCloud account.
We have no server and no database of our own, so we never receive, store or have access to your content.
Does Days Since collect location information?
No. Days Since does not collect or use any location information.
Do third parties have access to your information?
Days Since includes no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not collect advertising identifiers, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or device-sensor data. The only third party involved is Apple, through standard system features you control:
- Apple iCloud (CloudKit). Your events and reminders sync through your own private iCloud, under your Apple Account. Apple handles this under their terms; we cannot see this data. Privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy
- Apple App Store. The optional one-time Days Since Pro purchase is processed by Apple via the App Store. We never see your payment or card details, and you can restore your purchase at any time from within the app.
- Apple Calendar (optional). If you choose to import birthdays or recurring dates, Days Since reads your calendar only at the moment of import, to create reminders inside the app. Calendar data is not stored separately or transmitted anywhere.
- Apple Intelligence (optional, iOS 26+). On supported devices, Days Since can draft birthday or anniversary messages on device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Notifications
Reminder alerts are scheduled locally on your device. No notification is sent through any external or third-party server.
How can I delete my data?
Because there is no account and no server, your data is yours to remove directly:
- Delete individual events or reminders inside the app.
- Delete the app from your device to remove its local data.
- Remove the app's iCloud data in iOS Settings (your Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Account Storage), which clears the synced copy across your devices.
Children
Days Since is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed at children. It does not request or knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Security
Your content is stored on your device and in your private iCloud, protected by Apple's account security and device encryption. No system is perfectly secure, but because we hold none of your data, there is no developer-side database of personal information to be exposed.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. If we change it in a material way, we'll update the effective date above and note the change in the App Store release notes.
