Privacy Policy
Effective 30 June 2026
This privacy policy applies to the Days Since app (the "Application") for iPhone and iPad, created by Days Since (the "Service Provider") as a freemium service. The Application is provided "AS IS".
The short version: Days Since has no account, no advertising and no tracking, and the Service Provider does not run any server that receives your data. Everything you enter stays on your device and in your own private iCloud.
What information does the Application collect?
Days Since does not ask you to create an account or sign in, and does not collect your name, email address or any contact details. The content you create in the app — your events, reminders, categories, dates, occurrence history and any notes you add — is stored on your device using Apple's on-device database, and synced across your own devices through your private iCloud account.
The Service Provider has no server and no database of its own, and therefore never receives, stores or has access to your content.
Does the Application collect location information?
No. The Application does not collect or use any location information.
Do third parties have access to your information?
The Application does not include any advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not collect advertising identifiers, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or device-sensor data. The only third party involved is Apple, through standard system features you control:
- Apple iCloud (CloudKit). Your events and reminders sync through your own private iCloud, under your Apple Account. This is handled by Apple under their terms; the Service Provider cannot see this data. Privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy
- Apple App Store. The optional one-time Days Since Pro purchase is processed by Apple via the App Store. The Service Provider never sees your payment or card details.
- Apple Calendar (optional). If you choose to import birthdays or recurring dates, the Application reads your calendar only at the moment of import, to create reminders inside the app. Calendar data is not stored separately or transmitted anywhere.
- Apple Intelligence (optional, iOS 26+). On supported devices, the Application can draft birthday or anniversary messages on device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Notifications
Reminder alerts are scheduled locally on your device. No notification is sent through any external or third-party server.
How can I delete my data?
Because there is no account and no server, your data is yours to remove directly:
- Delete individual events or reminders inside the Application.
- Delete the Application from your device to remove its local data.
- Remove the app's iCloud data in iOS Settings (your Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Account Storage), which clears the synced copy across your devices.
Children
The Application is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed at children. It does not request or knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Security
Your content is stored on your device and in your private iCloud, protected by Apple's account security and device encryption. No system is perfectly secure, but because the Service Provider holds none of your data, there is no developer-side database of personal information to be exposed.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page. You are advised to consult this page regularly. This policy is effective as of 30 June 2026.
Your consent
By using the Application, you consent to the processing of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
